Different Jewish holidays call for different kinds of desserts.
Purim means Hamantashen, the tri-cornered pastries filled with apricot, black cherry, prune, chocolate or some other sweet filling.
Passover calls for desserts made without flour. Our specialties (and personal favorites) are Macaroons and a Chocolate Chip Mandel Brot (a great chocolate chip cookie substitute), but our Sponge cakes (regular or chocolate), Brownies, Banana Cake, Honey Cake, Chocolate Mousse Cake, Chocolate Nut Cookies, Chocolate Chip Meringue Cookies, Powdered Sugar-Coated Chocolate Cookies, Apricot Cocoa Torte (which can also be made with Black Cherry, Strawberry, Raspberry or just Chocolate) are also wonderful!
Rosh Hashonah and the "break-fast" on Yom Kippur call for Challah.
Dreidels are associated with Chanukah, and ours are sugar cookies dipped in chocolate, trimmed in colored icing, or covered in sprinkles or colored sugar.
And let's not forget about rugelach, which are enjoyed anytime!
Call to see which items can also be made Vegan,Gluten-Free and Sugar-Free.
